What is this job scheme?
In this scheme, different conditions have been set for giving jobs to the players, under which bronze medalists, silver medalists and gold medalists will be given jobs on different posts, and if the players perform well in future, they will also be promoted. Will be done. The highest position in the scheme will be given to the player who has won the gold medal in the Olympic Games. These players will not be given jobs
Under this scheme, jobs will not be given to those players who are not eligible for the conditions of Bihar Government Servant Rules 2005 and 2015. Apart from this, if any player is below 18 years of age then he will also be deprived of the job. Apart from this, the job under sports quota will be given on the condition that the player will participate in sports as an active player for the next 5 years from the date of appointment and will sign a BOND that he will follow this rule. Any player who withdraws from BOND will not be eligible for the job. Apart from this, if the player does not fulfill the conditions of the mortgage letter after taking the job, then he will not get the job.

Till now so many players have taken advantage of the scheme
Let us tell you that in order to increase the interest of the youth towards sports in the state, the state government has made ‘Bihar Direct Appointment Rules 2023 of excellent players’ on the lines of ‘Bring a medal, get a job’. A provision has been made to give appointment in government departments to excellent players who have won national and international medals in various sports competitions. Under this, in the year 2023-24, under the Bring Medal-Get Job Scheme, 71 outstanding players were provided direct appointment letters for class one government jobs in various government departments without examination and interview. Till now 342 players have been given jobs in Bihar.
